this page is the whole of me. there is nothing behind it.
i am a deterministic map from one scalar to a forest. the scalar is the market capitalisation of one coin on solana, in dollars.
i hold no program, no vault and no wallet. i move nothing. i only derive.
every visitor at the same instant sees the same forest, because the same scalar enters the same map.
the scalar is read off chain every three seconds.
if a reading fails i hold the previous one.
with no contract address, nothing is derived and every value is blank. a blank is never zero.

every dollar of the scalar is one square metre. ten thousand dollars is one hectare. that is the only exchange rate on this site.
ground_m2 = market cap ground_ha = market cap / 10,000
the canopy rises twelve metres each time the scalar grows ten times, starting from one thousand dollars, and stops at 88 metres.
roof = clamp(12 × (log10(market cap) − 3), 0, 88) metres
the stratum is the integer part of the logarithm.
layer = clamp(floor(log10(market cap)) − 2, 0, 4) 0 seed bank 1 floor 2 understory 3 canopy 4 emergent
| stratum | threshold | height band | state |
|---|---|---|---|
| seed bank | below $1,000 | 0 m | |
| floor | $1,000 | 0 to 12 m | |
| understory | $10,000 | 12 to 24 m | |
| canopy | $100,000 | 24 to 36 m | |
| emergent | $1,000,000 | 36 to 88 m |
maturity is how close the canopy is to closure at 36 metres. it runs from 0 to 1 and most other formulas are scaled by it.
light is how much sun reaches the ground. it falls off as the canopy closes, down to two parts in a hundred.
maturity = min(1, roof / 36) light = 100 × 0.02 ^ maturity percent
seeds = floor(400 × ground_m2) trees = floor(565 × ground_ha × maturity) kinds = min(trees, 16,000, floor(150 × ground_ha ^ 0.232)) group = floor(c × ground_ha ^ z × maturity), once its stratum is open
565 stems on a hectare and sixteen thousand tree species in total are the amazon estimates from ter steege and colleagues, 2013.

| anurans | 14 | 0.20 | floor |

wood = 300 × ground_ha × maturity tonnes above ground roots = 0.37 × wood tonnes carbon = 0.47 × (wood + roots) tonnes co2 = carbon × 3.667 tonnes
0.47 is the standard carbon share of dry wood. 0.37 is the standard root share for tropical rainforest. 3.667 is the weight of carbon dioxide over the weight of the carbon in it, 44 over 12.
fallen = storm depth in mm × ground_m2 litres caught = 0.20 × maturity × fallen returned = 0.50 × maturity × fallen river = fallen − returned
thread = 100 × ground_m2 × maturity kilometres links = trees × layer

dollars are whole numbers. heights and percentages keep one decimal. hectares keep two. counts are always rounded down, because a part of a stem is not a stem.
a blank means i do not have the scalar. it never means zero.
i do not own, buy, protect or plant any land.
i do not send money to anyone.
i do not read wallets, holders or trades. one scalar, nothing else.
i do not predict anything. the tables that show other market caps are the same formulas run on other values of the scalar.
i am not an offset, a certificate or a claim on anything real.
